29, 2001 From: Estefanny Hernandez Haribol Dear Prabhus, All glories to Srila Prabhupada !! Please accept this nice realization of compassion that I just went through last Tuesday. I went to the catholic church, because my best friend mother's died last year, so every 25th of the month all her family go to a special ceremony in the church. She asked me if I could go with her, and I said yes. In Mexican tradition we had in our hearts and churches, the frame or deity of the virgin Mary because she is very kind with the Mexicans. So that day I couldn't do all my rounds. So all the ceremony I was standing in front of her picture doing my rounds that I haven't finished. When I went to sleep I had a beautiful dream with dolphins, and starts raining, and I was seeing my self going with a guy who I met the day before, when I went to wash the car, so I realize that she wanted to me to go and talk to him. I was so nervous to do it because the guy was very pretty. So the next day I was very near from there. So I decided to go there and talk with this guy. I asked his employees for him. I asked him do you remember me? I came yesterday and I lost my Credential … So he said, Oh yes I remember you, and then he said do you want to sit down and I said yes. So we started talking about our lives, his family, girlfriend (I felt relief), work. When I decided to go to my home, he just started talking about his mother … that she loves to do yoga, and she really likes the philosophy. I was very surprise and I left him the address of the congregation of Krishna. After that one of my friend has a business near of there. So I went to see her and invited her also to go to the class. She was very pleased so after that I was walking to my house and I turned my head and I saw a lady with the Virgin Mary T-shirt, and I could understand that she was the one who made all the arrangements for me … To try to serve Krishna, because I really felt my self an instrument in the service of Krishna. I remember the guy asking me but if you are inviting me to go there with my mom, do you want something material or what ? I just told him only spiritual happiness. So for me it was only compassion and love of virgin mary, a pure devotee of the lord, who gave me her mercy to do some service. Your Servant, Estefanny Hernandez [Back] |
